Building Africa's electric future

Camzoid Limited is Nigeria's pioneering electric-vehicle conversion and clean-mobility company — engineering affordable, solar-integrated, African-built mobility from the ground up.

Our Story

Clean mobility, built for African realities

Africa has tens of millions of petrol vehicles, expensive fuel, and abundant sun. Camzoid exists to connect those dots — converting existing cars and motorcycles to electric, powering them with solar, and engineering the whole stack to be affordable and locally serviceable.

Rather than importing finished EVs that don't fit local roads, budgets or power realities, we convert the vehicles people already own and assemble new electric two- and three-wheelers, and support minibus / long-bus electrification in-country. The result: lower running costs, zero tailpipe emissions, and jobs and skills that stay in Nigeria.

We are an early-stage company with engineering depth and pan-African ambition — in active R&D, with our first physical demonstrator under build.

Our Mission

Convert Africa's gasoline fleet into clean, affordable, locally-engineered electric vehicles.

Our Vision

Lead Africa in electric mobility within the decade — building the sovereign, pan-African EV conversion, charging and software ecosystem.

What We Stand For

Three pillars, one promise

Affordable

Engineered and priced for the African market — with payback measured in months, not decades.

Solar-Integrated

Designed for off-grid African realities, so clean mobility doesn't depend on an unreliable grid.

African-Built

A 60–70% local-content target — keeping value, jobs and engineering capability on the continent.

Proprietary Technology

The systems behind every Camzoid vehicle

Four systems in active development. Every performance figure below is a target specification, currently undergoing independent validation — never presented as a finished commercial claim.

① LP-72 Local-Power Pack

Our flagship battery pack, engineered for tropical operation with locally-sourceable materials wherever feasible. Target architecture is a 107S2P pouch-cell pack with advanced chemistry tuned for Nigerian humidity and heat.

Range target 340–470 km 59.3 kWh gross / 46 kWh usable 411.9 V nominal ~165 kW peak >2,000 cycles ~97% round-trip IP67 Cost target $80–110/kWh

② Solar Harvester

A sun-tracking parabolic-dish concept for off-grid EV charging, optimised for 6–7 hours of Nigerian peak sun — so vehicles can charge independent of the grid.

③ Camzoid OS

Vehicle-side intelligence — real-time battery management, predictive maintenance, remote diagnostics and energy optimisation — keeping every converted vehicle safe, efficient and serviceable.

Real-time BMS Predictive maintenance Remote diagnostics Energy optimisation

④ BlazeBarrier Fireproofing

Battery fire-suppression engineered to aircraft-grade safety standards, drawing on our founder's aviation background — intumescent layers and thermal-runaway prevention. Fireproofing certification is a mandatory gate in every conversion.

Partnerships

Built with the right partners

Great engineering is never done alone. Camzoid works alongside academic and industry partners across battery validation, manufacturing, materials and energy — combining local engineering talent with world-class technical capability.

  • Academic & engineering validation — independent testing of our proprietary systems.
  • Manufacturing & assembly — local assembly partnerships to keep value in-country.
  • Materials & energy — battery materials, lifecycle and solar supply relationships in development.

Partner relationships are at varying stages; we name partners publicly only once agreements are finalised.
